Sami Mensura can look back on a colorful and unconventional life. Early on in his
life he was forced into the role of the outsider, the foreigner. His heroes were
always the underdogs.
One of his heroes from his childhood was the incomparable Diego Armando Maradona.
All the players on Sami's boyhood soccer team wanted to be Maradona. Everybody
wanted to be the star of the team but of course nobody wanted to play goalie and
this caused a lot of fights amongst the team's players.
Over the years the creators of worlds, musicians, painters and writers became the new heroes.
